You might note that my story title has a “2″. While this story is a stand alone piece, it does follow the theme of finding the meaning of “independent” that began in my previous publication with Mused in Spring 2008 – the original Miss Independent.

You don’t need to read the first one to read this most recent publication, but it’s a very different story and feel if you haven’t had a chance to do so.
