Music from Bosley is the kind everyone needs on their ipod. You know, that kind of music that has you dancing, the songs where the lyrics, beats, and hooks can’t help but stick – and luckily, Bosley is offering songs for free on ReverbNation.

All the songs are great, but here are the ones I love (notice how I mention almost all of them?).

Recommendations/Highlights

After a long day of paper pushing or wishing you were doing something creative rather than the mundane, Quit Work Make Music can make you quit everything or at least give you a reprieve from your crappy day.
If you just want to get up dance, there’s nothing like Boogie Dancing and Life is a Dance Floor.
For that mix of dance and romance, enjoy the fun, first flirty meeting of Disco Lights, the feeling of falling in Quicksand, or something a little bit more epic in End of Time – where “all we have is each other at the end of the day and all we need is love…”
Let’s be honest – what girl doesn’t want that one guy to try because of the Best Part?
This Way is probably my favorite “story” song. It’s the story of a relationship possibly ending and not wanting it to, and while it’s at the close of the album, it’s also the its catchiest song…which will probably tell you to rewind and listen to the rest all over again.

After reading the letter on Gizmodo from Damian of OK Go, I have decided to do a post where I embed this video. Major labels and corporations have this tenuous relationship with social media – clamoring for its attention while simultaneously doing crap-like things that dissuade the consumer from telling others what they like. Read the letter and learn about how you can’t embed YouTube videos. I’m a big fan of OK Go – one of the best concerts I’ve ever had in my life featured them. It was at a rinky-dink dive bar in Hollywood where they ran down to the floor and did a live recording. So here’s their latest song – This Too Shall Pass.

Music: Strict Joy by The Swell Season

So I’ve fallen a bit on the wayside on the “A Song A Day” pick (life’s been busy), but to make up for it, here’s an awesome new album I found today.

The actors of “Once” have collaborated as a group called The Swell Season. Their album Strict Joy is an enjoyable mix of acoustic sounds and the soothing voices Glen Hansard and Marketa Irglova.
